John Denver Ecology Award Speech


On September 13th, 1990, The University of Missouri in Saint Louis, began bestowing awards for great strides in conservation and environmental issues.
John Denver was the recipient of their very first "World Ecology Award".   Among other prestigious recipients are:  Jacques Cousteau,   Dr. Jane Goodall,   The Prince of Wales,   Harrison Ford & Conservation International, among many others.

John gave a very heartfelt and inspiring speech about the state of our world, and what he hoped to achieve to help save the earth, with the help of all mankind.  On this page, you can view the 22 minute long speech he gave during that Ceremony
